Fujairah is enjoying an increasing number of tourists these days. This UAE-based city has some interesting attractions and offers a relatively isolated holiday destination for a rejuvenating vacation. Most tourists on a visit to Dubai or Abu Dhabi also include Fujairah in their itinerary to make the best of their sightseeing.
Some of the major Fujairah attractions are enlisted below:
Fujairah Fort: This 17th century fort is historic and the oldest of its kind in the country. It has undergone some damage and despite being renovated is pretty much in a decadent state. Hence, it makes for an excellent tourist site.
Heritage Village: Heritage Village is an attraction which takes you back to those good, old times. Tourists can take a glance into the culture and lifestyle of the residents of the olden days. It is another attraction which must be visited by all means.
Fujairah Museum: Who doesn’t love museums? Fujairah Museum, therefore, does not need any reason to convince you to make a trip. It is a museum which has a fetching collection of old-age artifacts and historical items preserved till date. From potteries to coins to swords, every kind of item dating back to the BC era enjoys a place at this house.
Ottoman Mosque: Ottoman Mosque is another marvelous and a must-visit attraction in the town. Even though it is the main place of worship for the locals, the tourists can drop by and feast on its architectural beauty.
Bithna Fort: Bithna Fort is another mighty and impregnable structure which was built in 1735. It is a historical treasure of UAE and should be included in your itinerary.
For Fujairah hotel booking and sightseeing, tourists prefer to avail facilities under holiday packages. These packages are cheap and exempt them from all kinds of hassles.
