Honeymoon travel package: Why Dahabiya cruise on Nile is so highly recommended?

09 May 2013 - 0 Comments

Egypt’s Nile is a river known for its phenomenal beauty and majestic history. It is not just oceanic amount of water that it holds. It is a bloodline, a lifeline of the country which has been so dependent on the river that the two have walked in hand in hand from the ancient times to the modern era. A Dahabiya cruise on the Nile is the best way to explore the river. It is very enchanting, extremely panoramic and also involves lot of romance. Therefore, it is a firm favorite with honeymooning couples.
Under a honeymoon travel package, one can come across a number of fascinating landmarks and cities while cruising down the Nile. Here is a quick break down of some of these visual delights:

Honeymoon Travel Packages

  1. Cairo: The capital city of Egypt is noted for its pyramids, sphinx and the Cairo Museum. Most cruises will take you to the shores of the city and allow you to get down and spend a few hours doing some quick sightseeing.
  2. Aswan: Aswan is home to some beguiling temples and that famed Aswan High Dam. It is also very picturesque and a rich reservoir of the country’s history. It will inevitably form a part of the itinerary.
  3. Luxor: Luxor is the ultimate city which has the best of the country involving some gigantic temples and the tombs and epitaphs of the bygone Pharaohs. Luxor Temple and the Temple of Karnak rule the roost when it comes to sightseeing attractions. Any Dahabiya cruise would mandatorily include this city in the program. An Egypt tour without a trip to Luxor can be really unsatisfying! That is so because the best historic ruins of the country are all situated here. In addition, the hot air balloon ride is the cherry on the cake. However, the balloon ride can be a tad expensive and you will have to loosen your purse strings by a significant measure to savor its pleasure. But the ride would definitely be worth the expense.
If you are wondering as to why you should go for the Nile river cruise, then here are some quick reasons:
  • Firstly, it is through a Dahabiya cruise that you can feast on the best historical attractions of the country in a very short time. Right from the Giza’s pyramids to the Luxor’s temples, you can catch them all.
  • It is sheer delight to run along the river during the night when the lights are turned on and the river seems to shimmer and shine. Besides, the onshore landmarks also take on a stunning look after sunset.
  • A cruise ride also gives you the excuse to get away from the maddening crowd. Thus, under a honeymoon travel package, you can easily avoid long queues and bustling crowds by seeking the convenient comfort of the cruises.
  • Cruises also come with guides for tourists. They give an interesting account of the history of the country and regale every visitor.

The Park Inn by Radisson Manchester City Center hotel in the UK has implemented the Pro-B Air system and Pro-B Cleaning, supplied by Pro-B For Life, on a trial basis. The property is said to be the first hotel in the UK to implement the pro-biotic hygiene and cleaning system, which will help it to reduce the use of harmful chemicals and its carbon footprint. Park Inn by Radisson Manchester City Cent re hotel general manager Neil Raw said that the hotel is always looking at ways of reducing its carbon footprint. He said by using the Pro-B system, the hotel's commitment to the corporate 'Think Planet' campaign is brought to the fore.

Pro-B Air, which is installed in the air-conditioning system, controls and distributes pro-biotic material through the ventilation system, by spreading good bacteria and reducing bad bacteria in the hotel atmosphere. The technology helps to improve the hotel's cleanliness while decreasing the odors and allergens in the building, claims Pro-B For Life. The Chrisal PIP Environmental Enhancer technology used in the Pro-B Air system is recognized by Allergy UK and won the Allergy Friendly Product Award this year. Implementing the Pro-B Cleaning system, the hotel has equipped the housekeeping service with green detergents, enzymes and pro-biotic bacteria for microscopic clean, prevention and elimination of odors.

Raw said that the results so far have impressed the staff and the guests with a marked difference to the overall environment, with odors eliminated from the kitchen and gym areas, for example. "This benefit transcends across the hotel, with bedrooms, corridors and public areas continually exuding a 'fresh' and 'clean' smell and that stability was clear within just a few weeks of implementing the new systems," he added.
